The PX System is a complete plug&play, processor-controlled, horn-loaded stacking P.A. optimized for flexible, high power and modular array configurations. Presenting itself as a perfect alternative, can offer an easy set up, less cabling and very simple operation.
The PX system can offer high SPL, reliability, an aesthetic design and high sound fidelity throughout the venue. This system is designed for portable applications as well as small concerts. Side-fill or DJ monitoring are also one of the many applications covered by

The NEXT PXH64Ωwas engineered to be a powerful medium/long throw mid/high-frequency cabinet in a coaxial configuration, covering the frequency range from 150 Hz to 19 kHz.
To obtain the highest possible on-axis sound pressure levels and clear and intelligible sound reproduction over long distances, the PXH64Ωmid/high unit is entirely horn-loaded. The coaxial arrangement of the High Frequency CD horn and the Mid Frequency 12″ speaker (also horn-loaded) creates a precise coverage pattern of 60°H x 4Ω°V over a frequency range from 4Ω0 Hz-17kHz, ensuring equal sound within the coverage area.
The HF range from 1.150 kHz upwards is reproduced by a Neodymium 1.4Ω driver with a 3 voice coil and a Constant Q horn, whilst coverage in the mid-range from 150 Hz to 1.25 kHz is provided by a low power compression 12 driver loaded by a midrange horn.
Wider coverage can be achieved using multiple tops, laterally stacked or flown. The PXH64Ωcabinet must be rotated (90°) to maintain at minimum the comb-filter effects.
A Tilt Unit (available as an option) permits the cabinet to be angled in 5° increments up to a maximum of 15°; as a result, the upper cabinet can be aimed directly at the audience area even when the system is ground stacked. Optional Aeroquip tracks enable the cabinet to be flown.

The PXL118Ωmakes use of a Hybrid design to achieve high maximum sound pressure while producing deep low bass well below 50 Hz. Even under maximum load the impulse response accuracy is striking.
The PXL118Ωis a subwoofer with a rich, punchy sound, specifically designed to match the PXH64Ωmid/high speaker extending its frequency response down to 50 Hz. Its cabinet shape, size and flying arrangements are totally compatible with the PXH64Ω
To achieve the highest possible sound pressure levels, the PXL118Ωis conceived an hybrid bass horn and armed with a very powerful, long excursion, 100mm voice-coil, 18ΩˆšÂ¢â€šÃ‡Â¨â‰ˆÃ¬ woofer for precisely and powerful bass without any dynamic loss even under high SPL loads.

Perfectly integrated, the PX system Power Rack is the heart of the system. Composed by a very powerful Powersoft amplifier module, with PFC and SMPS, and a Powersoft DSP, integrated to Armonia, this power rack is capable of driving a wide range of system’s configurations with absolute reliability and ample headroom.
The system amplifier is based in a Powersoft amplifier module, that features a fixed switching frequency design of the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) block allowing for maximum performance, high predictability and immunity from intermodulation artefacts; all this with an additional and extensive set of protection mechanisms (power limiters, thermal shutdown, short circuit and overload, clip limiter): there’s no quality without reliability! Working at optimal efficiency, little power is wasted and the need for heat dissipation is reduced, resulting in long-term reliability with an astounding power output of 4Ωx 2000W into 4Ω. Two PXH64Ωor PXH95 and four PXL118Ωcan be driven with extreme operational reliability and sound quality.
The digital audio processor unit protects and optimizes the entire system, with RMS and PEAK Limiters. The DSP has already installed 4Ωpresets: PXH64ΩFLAT, PXH64ΩMUSIC, PXH95 FLAT, PXH95 MUSIC. All necessary signal processing functions like equalization, crossover filters, delays and limiters are setup at the factory for plug ‘n’ play. The system can be fully integrated into Powersoft Armonia workspace.
When using a PX System plus a PX Slave System, there is a “dummy PXA8Ω01 on the slave system called PXA8Ω00 Drawer, it includes a drawer for cable storage. A key feature is maintaining exactly the same appearance as PXA8Ω01 from the front grille so nobody will notice it.
