Two Way Protection: Physical Barrier + Communication Solution
The Rondson DuoProtect kit solves two problems at once. First, it creates a physical barrier against viruses and bacteria, protecting staff and customers during flu season or pandemics. Second, it ensures clear communication through that barrier, including for customers who wear hearing aids.
During epidemics such as flu or COVID-19, a plexiglass countertop protective screen is essential. This mobile kit forms a real barrier against transmission and contamination. But protective screens create a new problem: muffled speech. The DuoProtect kit solves that too.
How It Works
The system has three components working together:
The GM 20P counter intercom provides two way amplified communication between staff and customer through the plexiglass barrier. No shouting. No leaning around the screen. No repeated questions.
The PDA103C induction loop amplifier powers the integrated TX121 loop inside the plexiglass. Customers with hearing aids simply switch to their T coil setting and hear the staff member directly in their hearing aid. No background noise. No misunderstanding.
The AMT microphone captures speech clearly from the staff side. Magnetic buckle stickers indicate the loop is active.

Why Induction Loop Technology

The induction loop transmits sound directly to hearing aids. No ambient noise. No distance loss. No echo from the plexiglass. The customer hears clearly the first time, reducing repeat enquiries and frustration.
