The JS-1E is an economic version of JS-1, to reduce cost the JS-1E does not have the PAD and LOW CUT function switches and circuitry of the JS-1 and does not include the spider type shock mount that is included with the JS-1. But it has the same excellent mic capsule. Requires 48 V DC
